Dear Rope Fashions members,
For a while, I have thought of setting up a Rope Fashions blog or forum, so we could have some two-way interaction,
with discussions about rope bondage topics of interest to you.
This has finally come true! My partner, Lady Cocoa, has just opened a new site, Eros140.com. This is a MySpace-style
social networking site that deals with all sorts of sex and sexuality
topics. Soon, it will also allow Twitter users to
find like-minded people to follow. And of special
interest to us is that there is a Rope Fashions discussion group.
To join, go to http://www.Eros140.com and click on the "Join" button. Once you have joined,
click on the "Groups"
button at the top of the screen. There you will see the Rope Fashions group.

I've been going through the web links pruning dead links. I am sorry to say that it appears that BDSM Florida, Between the Darque and Light, Dungeon Magic, Informed Consent, and Tampa Fetish Party are no longer with us. I plan to be adding some new links shortly.

New Flipbook Engine |

If you have tried the recent flipbook tutorials, you may have noticed that pages sometimes failed to load, even if you waited a long time for them. I have replaced our flipbook engine with another product that seems to be much more well behaved. This should make reading the flipbooks more pleasant.

New Flipbook Tutorial Format |

I am experimenting with tutorials in flipbook format. This format displays two-page spreads, like a book, and you can turn the pages by either clicking in the corners, or clicking and dragging them, like you would turn the pages of a physical book. I have put the latest tutorial, Chain-stitched Collar and Leash, up in the new format. Please compare the new and old formats and see which one you prefer. If folks prefer the new format, I will start doing new tutorials that way.

This weekend, November 7-9, 2008, Lady Cocoa and I presented at Exotica Detroit 4, in Pontiac, Michigan (just North of Detroit). We did our Classic Bondage of the'70s presentation, and Lady Cocoa did her Gorean Slave Dance and Sensual Movement class. We also went to a wonderful rope bondage class presented by Nawa*G & lil*j. Some of our favorite vendors were there, including Torvea Toys and Leather By Danny, and we found some new favorites, S. M. Hertz Co., The Crimson Chain, and Kinky Ropes. We've been invited to present next time, so come see us there.

Four new CBT tutorials |

Today I added four new CBT tutorials. Two of them, Marling Hitch CBT and Hojojutsu Cock Bondage, are just online versions of tutorials that have only been available as PDF downloads. The other two, CBT Ball Separator and CBT with the Hitachi wand, are brand new. CBT tutorials now have their own section in the tutorials.

Secondly, the hidden assumption in this misconception is that submission is somehow demeaning. Nothing could be further from the truth. A dominant/submissive relationship is a carefully negotiated , safe, and caring exchange between partners.
